Slow Leak Behind Washer Causes Mold

This customer had a slow leak behind her washing machine and with wet building material and time, that eventually led to mold growth. The customer had no idea there was a problem until she pulled the washer away from the wall to clean behind it.
This job required a complete remediation. Some actions in the remediation process include.
- Work with an industrial hygienist to develop a protocol to remove affected materials.
- Setting up a containment to prevent potential cross-contamination.
- Removing contaminated materials and using HEPA filtrated vacuumed for detailed cleaning.
- Cleaning the HVAC system to remove potential contamination.
