Water Damage Could Cause Flooring To Be Removed

Water damages can cause loads and loads of damage. Most of the time it is the water you can't see that is most harmful. Whether that is water in the walls causing mold or in this case water under the flooring. 

Water under the flooring as you can see in the photos there is no clear cut sign of knowing there is moisture there. We use special moisture meters and thermal imaging cameras to detect moisture not clearly visible.

In this case, we needed to remove the flooring because once water gets under there is no where for the moisture to go. Prolonged time with moisture under your flooring causes buckling, the wood to warp and the planks of wood may separate.
